As November 9th (11/9) is coming this weekend we are prepping our students for the routine that is to be executed in the case of a fire at the kindergarten. Today we welcomed local firefighters to the campus to help us practice how to properly exit the classroom and follow the route to our class destination on the playground and in the parking lot. Teachers are required to count all children and report the number to the supervisors. Everyone followed the plan well and it was a successful practice. In addition to helping us follow the correct plan, the firefighters also gave demonstrations on how a fire is put out and showed the children the many parts of the fire truck and its safety gadgets. We are so proud of all of our students and teachers for their hard work and regular concerns for safety.
