When Lantern Festival fell on the opening week of school, children were filled with excitement to reunite with their classmates after a long holiday. The campus was decorated with a festive atmosphere, and there was a sense of ceremony on the first day of school. Fun activities were also organized to celebrate Lantern Festival. We started the new school term with joy and enthusiasm and celebrated Lantern Festival together!
After a long holiday, both teachers and students were excited to see each other. In the morning, the Dragons welcomed the children at the kindergarten gate with lanterns. We can choose a "Lucky Dragon Wish" and take a photo with the auspicious Dragons. The teachers also planned a surprise activity for the Year of the Dragon called "Dragon Stamp Fun."
Everyone had lots of stories to tell each other about their holiday experiences. They had so much fun, received New Year gifts, and got red envelopes. They met their friends and played their favorite games together. The playground and classrooms were filled with the sound of children's laughter. Finally, they boarded the "Dragon Train" and toured the campus, enjoying the fragrance of plum blossoms, longing for spring and the new semester, and exploring all the familiar and refreshed scenery on campus.
Lantern Festival is said to mark the end of the year. At school, the festive atmosphere lingered, and the teachers worked hard to prepare a series of games that were both entertaining and meaningful. The games allowed the children to immerse themselves in fun and brought good wishes for the first day of school, continuing the joy of the new year in the warmth of the season.
Wearing traditional Chinese costumes, the lively Lantern Festival activities began with dragon and lion dances, accompanied by the sound of gongs and drums by the children in the K2. Everyone enjoyed lanterns, guessed riddles, made DIY lanterns, painted tangyuan, fished for tangyuan, and rolled tangyuan. Then, they made a bowl of delicious, colorful tangyuan and spent a joyful Lantern Festival with a variety of exciting activities
A new year, a new semester, and a new beginning bring warmth, surprises, and joy. We celebrated Lantern Festival with joy and laughter, full of dreams and hope for the new year!
