In kindergarten, the most important skill development is social skills, to get along with peers, to teambuild, parttake in group games and most importantly, to know how to be a friend! In K2 this Friday, children under the guidance of foreign teacher Ms. Celia talked about friendships, not just the things we play together, but how to show appreciation to everyone in our class, in our team.
Together, teachers and children came up with words of encouragement, such as "i like you" and "you are my friend". We also agreed, that eventhough we once in a while can have arguments over toys or who plays with who, if we make a mistake we have to correct it with sincerity, such as writing an apology letter or drawing a beautiful picture as a present.
On this day however, everyone were excellent friends and practiced their writing skills, by writing words of appreciation to eachother.
