What an amazing day!
Together with friends and teachers we celebrated Children's Day at school with a utopia of fun exciting activities.
Students and teachers were invited to wear colorful clothes and fun home-made headpieces to school on this special occasion.
Teachers and students worked together to decorate the class-rooms last week and today teachers started the special day off with creative and imaginative role-plays. From Milos & Maggie's "The World's Greatest Painter" to Mia & Cassandra "The Drop-A-Lot Circus Juggler" the key concept was to create a fun, silly day, to play and laugh together.
Teacher Joyce from Nursery dressed up as a "Balloon clown" complete with rainbow wig and face paint. She made balloon animals for her class. Paul & April dressed in Sponge Bob's favorite color "Yellow". The crazy scientists from Nursery showed how to mix colors and how not to mix colors. In N-302 the Magicians from Harry Potter spell bounded their class with fun tricks and in 104 Melon and Luna was two fairies floating around on a cloud of pixie dust.
Outside, kids joined morning exercises and classes took turns to play umbrella, balloon and sponge activities. It was such a fun day and imaginative day!
From the school we prepared small useful gifts to children in the theme of hygiene. Everyone got a small hygiene bag with a cup and toothbrush out of biodegradable wheat straw composite material and a Johnson & Johnson soap bar for making bubbles and at the same time keeping hand hygiene at home.
We wish all of you an amazing and Happy Children's Day!
Sincerely,
Newton management and teachers
