At Hui Xin campus the menu has been carefully selected to provide children with a wide variety of international foods and nutrients from all of the major food groups; grain, dairy, protein and vegetables and is served to preserve the recognition of the ingredient used. Such as blanched baby carrots, broccoli, steamed cauliflower etc. served on the plate. At lunch children have 2 side-dish options, a soup and mixed salad served at teachers discretion. At snack time a juice or warm-drink is served with the meal. All visible, educational, healthy and choice based.  

Fresh fruits and vegetable coolers with "finger snacks", apple slices, cucumber sticks and cherry tomatoes are featured in each classroom. Children and adults alike often experience mid-meal cravings for something fresh, by not tending to this hunger it can affect our mood, which is more true in the case of young children. The coolers in each class-room provide students with an option of enjoying water time together with a small healthy snack or if the breakfast / lunch / snack leaves a little extra room, children can ask teachers for more fruits or veggies, just as at home. At Hui Xin campus we monitor the daily Air Quality Index (AQI) and follow a strict procedure in terms of inside and outside play once the PM2.5 levels get too high. All class-rooms are equipped with the newest state-of-the-art fresh air systems from Foundation and Atmos Air. The system is fully automated and measures both in the room and outside volatile organic compounds (VOC) and circulate, filtrate and cleanse all the air in the classroom up to 4 times per hour.

The Foundation system is much more than a simple air-purifier in your home, which only circulate inside air. This system monitors and take in air from outside, cleans it and push it into the classroom, there by creating a positive bubble of clean air, which pushes out negative air. Additionally, doors at Hui Xin campus are equipped with sensors which beep once the door has not been closed properly, reminding parents, children and teachers to always close doors after you to save power and to ensure the good quality air inside on days with high air polution.

Inside and outside play is divided into following: Over 150 PM2.5 limited play outside, Over 200 PM2.5 no play outside. At levels under 100 PM2.5 the school nurse in charge of health and hygiene will advice class-teacher that doors and windows can be opened.
